In a significant boost to bilateral defense relations, high-ranking military officials from India and Italy convened in Rome for the 13th edition of the India-Italy Military Cooperation Group (MCG) meeting held from March 20 to 21.
The two-day summit, a cornerstone event for deepening strategic military ties, was jointly steered by senior officers from both nations. Representing India was the Deputy Assistant Chief of Integrated Defence Staff IDC (A) from Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, while Italy was represented by the Deputy Head of the Strategic Direction and Military Cooperation Division of the Italian Defence General Staff.
