Golden Temple Breaks Records: SGPC Honoured for Highest Devotee Footfall

In a momentous occasion, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has been bestowed with a prestigious honour by Exclusive World Records. The organization presented a certificate of recognition to the SGPC for Sri Harmandar Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, achieving the remarkable feat of being the holy place with the highest number of devotees visiting worldwide.

Dr. Pankaj Khatwani and Deepak Thawani, the heads of Exclusive World Records, personally visited the SGPC office to extend this honor. During the ceremony, Khatwani expressed the organization’s profound respect by paying homage at Darbar Sahib. He emphasized that this revered place stands as a symbol of immense devotion for followers across the globe. Despite the influx of hundreds of thousands of devotees, Khatwani commended the administrators for consistently delivering excellent services.

The Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab, has long been a beacon of spirituality and a pilgrimage site for Sikhs and people of various faiths. This recognition from Exclusive World Records not only underscores its spiritual significance but also acknowledges the efficient management and services provided by the SGPC.

Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, the Manager of Shri Darbar Sahib, joined in the celebration by felicitating the visiting members of Exclusive World Records. This recognition not only uplifts the Golden Temple but also puts the city of Amritsar on the global map as a significant religious and cultural hub.
