The Central University of Punjab (CUP) successfully concluded the three-day International Conference on Translational Trends in Natural and Health Sciences (TTNHS 2024) on Saturday, marking a significant milestone in collaborative scientific discourse. Organized in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Department of Biotechnology (DBT), and the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), DST-SERB, the event attracted a diverse assembly of over 350 scientists, researchers, and industry leaders from eight countries, including India, the USA, Japan, China, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Hungary.

The conference served as a dynamic platform for exchanging cutting-edge knowledge and fostering international collaborations. Delegates from prestigious national institutions such as AIIMS, IITs, IISERs, NIPER, the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), CSIR, and various Central Universities engaged in intensive discussions and presentations. The event featured an impressive lineup of six Plenary Lectures, twelve Keynote Lectures, and thirty-nine Invited Lectures delivered by renowned experts in the field.

Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of CUP and Patron of the conference, underscored the pivotal role of translational research in bridging theoretical insights with practical applications. “This conference is not just an academic gathering but a catalyst for addressing global challenges through innovative research,” he stated during the inaugural session.

Dr. Rakesh K.
