PAU Students Shine in Dr. D.R. Singh British Parliamentary Debate

The Punjab Agricultural University’s School of Business Studies (SBS) has once again proven its mettle on the debating stage, as its talented team represented by the Management Science Association (MSA) triumphed at the prestigious Dr. D.R. Singh British Parliamentary Debate held at PCTE Ludhiana.

The remarkable journey of these budding debaters, comprised of four MBA students specializing in Agribusiness Management – Aryan Sardana, Gautam, Ayush Saini, and Jaskirat – was nothing short of inspiring. In a field of 64 competitive teams, they exhibited their exceptional debating skills and advanced seamlessly into the second round. Throughout the competition, they tackled complex topics that ranged from geopolitics to the global economy with unparalleled finesse.

The pinnacle of their success came in the final round, where the team passionately engaged in a spirited debate on the topic “Bangladesh: The Prime Investment Destination in Asia.” Their articulate arguments and effective presentation left both judges and spectators in awe. Their performance served as a testament to the depth of knowledge cultivated within Punjab Agricultural University and underscored their remarkable persuasive abilities.

Dr. Ramandeep Singh, the Director of the School of Business Studies at Punjab Agricultural University, took a moment to congratulate the participants and the dedicated MSA faculty team. Dr. Singh emphasized the importance of striking a balance between academic pursuits, cultural engagement, and involvement in sports activities to nurture well-rounded professionals.
