Guru Angad Dev Ji was deeply involved in the service of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first Guru. Witnessing his humility, devotion, and selfless service, Guru Nanak Dev Ji anointed him as his successor, thereby establishing him as the second Guru. Originally named Bhai Lehna Ji, his devotion and service left such a profound impact on Guru Nanak Sahib Ji that he renamed him Angad Dev, signifying his integration with the Guru’s divine essence.
