In a stirring address at the Central University of Punjab’s convocation ceremony on Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu reminded students that being a good person is paramount, even more so than attaining material success. The President’s speech, rich in life lessons, marked not only the celebration of academic achievements but also the commencement of a new chapter in the lives of the graduates.
Speaking to a large and attentive audience, President Murmu reflected on the transformative nature of the convocation ceremony. “This day signifies both the end of one phase and the beginning of another in your journey,” she remarked. President Murmu outlined a blueprint for success that was not measured solely by professional accomplishments. In a subsequent address at AIIMS, President Murmu extended her counsel to medical professionals. She underscored the importance of understanding one’s moral responsibilities in the demanding field of healthcare and advised doctors to manage their emotions effectively while facing the profession’s inevitable challenges.
