In a remarkable achievement for Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ms. Sonia Bhandal, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Extension Education and Communication Management at the College of Community Science, was honored with the “Best Oral Presentation Award” at the ICAR-sponsored International Conference on “Current Innovations and Technological Advances in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (CITAAS-2024).” The prestigious event took place from August 29-31 at Guru Kashi University.
Ms. Bhandal’s award-winning presentation, titled “Bridging the Gender Gap: Strategies for Empowering Women in the 21st Century,” showcased her innovative research on advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment. Her work has garnered significant attention for its insightful strategies and practical solutions aimed at addressing gender disparities in various sectors.
