The recipients include two Indian Police Service officers — Inspector General of Police (Intelligence-Admin) Babu Lal Meena and Inspector General (Provisioning) Dr S. Boopathi — along with six Punjab Police Service officers. These are Superintendent of Police (PBI) Sangrur Navreet Singh Virk, DSP (Headquarters) Sangrur Karnail Singh, DSP (Security) Subhash Chand, DSP (CID Unit) Amritsar Sanjeev Kumar, ACP (North) Amritsar Gagandeep Singh, and DSP Jahan Khelan Jasvir Singh.
