Jay-Z Puts Punjabi Music Center Stage at Louis Vuitton Show

In a recent ripple across the global music scene, Punjabi music is making waves, permeating the high-profile Louis Vuitton show in Paris. American rapper, music mogul, and entrepreneur, Shawn Corey Carter, better known as Jay-Z, headlined the event, uniquely blending his style with the melodious Punjabi beats of “Mundian To Bach Ke”, originally crooned by Panjabi MC.

Punjabi music, well-regarded for its infectious energy and diverse rhythms, is quickly becoming a global phenomenon, echoing in every corner of the world. The internationally acclaimed Jay-Z served as an ambassador of this vibrant genre at the Louis Vuitton menswear fashion show on June 20, where he gave a stellar performance with a Punjabi twist, showcasing his appreciation for the music and artists.

Jay-Z’s performance became the highlight of the afterparty, where he captivated the audience with his vibrant energy and rhythmic fusion of Punjabi music with his unique style, reaffirming the position of Punjabi music on the global stage.
