In that position, Dhillon was involved in the Canadian government’s efforts to renew diplomatic engagement with major bilateral partners, including India and China. According to biographical information released by the Canadian government, he was among the advisers who worked on restoring senior-level channels of communication and cooperation with key countries.
His responsibilities have also extended to investment promotion. Dhillon led stakeholder coordination aimed at securing investment commitments into Canada and was involved in the development and planning of the country’s inaugural national Investment Summit.
