In a moving ceremony on International Women’s Day, the Sarb Shakti Sena paid tribute to the unsung heroes of the Phagwara traffic police – the women constables who stand at the forefront of public safety. Under the inspiring leadership of City President Santokh Singh, the event shone a spotlight on these dedicated officers whose relentless efforts ensure smooth traffic management even in the most challenging conditions.

Special guests, National Secretary Rajesh Vashisht and District President Pandit Deepak Shastri, lauded the constables for their hard work and unwavering commitment. “Their contributions are invaluable,” they remarked, emphasizing that while accolades often go to high-ranking officials, it is the ground-level employees who truly form the backbone of the police force.

The ceremony, marked by heartfelt speeches and affirmations, also recognized the unique challenges faced by women in police duty. As traffic personnel, these constables brave all weather conditions, often working long hours to maintain order and safety on the roads. Their perseverance and dedication have not only earned them professional respect but have also served as a beacon of inspiration for future generations of women considering a career in law enforcement.

City President Santokh Singh expressed his determination to continue these commendable initiatives in the years ahead. “Honouring the dedication and hard work of our women officers is just the beginning,” he stated, promising that similar events will be organized in the future to further motivate and acknowledge the contributions of women in the force.

The event was also attended by prominent dignitaries including Sports Cell President Charanjit Channa, Surinder Kumar, Dayala, and Rajinder Sharma, among others, all of whom joined in celebrating the day’s significant achievements.

As the ceremony concluded, the message was clear: recognition and support for the women who serve on the frontlines of public safety is not only a matter of honour but a necessity for a thriving and resilient community.
