Cadets of the 2 Chandigarh Battalion National Cadet Corps (NCC) celebrated National Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. On this important occasion to remember the invaluable contributions of women in society, cadets organized various activities.

The program commenced with paying homage to the pioneering women who have played a crucial role in shaping the nation and empowering communities. Cadets paid tribute to those esteemed figures whose tireless efforts have paved the way for gender equality and women empowerment across various spheres of life.

Through a series of engaging presentations and discussions, cadets deliberated on the significance of gender equality, advocating for inclusivity and equal opportunities for women in all fields. Emphasizing the indispensable role of women in nation-building, they reiterated their commitment to fostering a more just and inclusive society through collective action.

Furthermore, the event featured guest speaker Sangita Joshi, Deputy Director of the Central Communications Bureau, who participated in an interactive session focusing on government initiatives concerning education, healthcare, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and social welfare. It is vital for women to listen to their bodies, eat mindfully, and choose healthy options that support their individual nutritional needs and lifestyle, noted guest speaker Kiran.
