Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, an esteemed alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, and the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, brings with him a wealth of experience garnered over his illustrious 37-year career. Commissioned into 19 Madras in December 1986, his journey has been defined by unwavering dedication and leadership in some of the nation’s most challenging environments.
His tenure has been marked by pivotal roles on both the Jammu and Kashmir front and the Western border, where he commanded troops in diverse and demanding capacities. From leading his battalion in complex counter-insurgency operations in J&K to overseeing an infantry brigade on the Line of Control (LoC), Lt Gen Manjinder Singh has consistently exhibited strategic acumen and a deep commitment to national security.
